Help the Lampasas County Democrats make a difference!
There are many ways to volunteer, from walking door to door to hosting fundraising events as well as assist with planning fundraising events and voter registration drives.
Here are ways you can help:
First, and foremost, make sure you are registered to vote and your address is up-to-date in the system. The DMV/DPS, unfortunately, is lax is processing updates when you change your driver's license. Seek to remind other people to register to vote.

Bring your life experience and wisdom to our meetings.
Become a Poll Worker--This is a paid temporary position.
It will be easier if more people could work 7-hour shifts vs. a 14 hour day.

Participate in free training.
Support local candidates. If possible, put up campaign signs in your place of business or front yard. Contact us for obtaining signs.
Make phone calls.
Assist with events. Host an event.
Mail in a donation or support us by coming to fund-raising events.
Funds raised by LCDP generally cover operating costs.
(In the summer of 2014, we hired a summer intern to organize phone banking.)
